The meeting was attended by Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, DG ISI, Chairman C-Pak Committee Asim Saleem Bajwa, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Ali Zaidi, Umar Ayub, Abdul Hafeez, Hamad Azhar, Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Chief Minister Balochistan and other senior officials. ۔ The meeting discussed in detail the national development agenda.

Plans for setting up of agriculture, energy and transportation, border markets in Balochistan were also considered. On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that ensuring law and order in Balochistan, social and economic development is the top priority of the government. Most of Balochistan is backward. The people of Balochistan are fully aware of their sense of deprivation. The people of Balochistan are trying their best to remove the feeling of deprivation.

Employment opportunities will be provided to the youth of Balochistan. He said that in the past resources were provided to Balochistan but in the past the welfare of Balochistan was neglected. He said that road network was essential to benefit from C-Pack and Gwadar. The meeting also approved the setting up of a Mineral Exploration Committee to explore for mineral resources. The committee will formulate its recommendations and submit them to the Prime Minister.
